Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, toss the 1 lb (450 g) chopped potatoes with 1 tablespoon olive oil, sea salt to taste, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Spread the potatoes evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and crispy.

While the potatoes are baking, marinate the 14 oz (400 g) cubed beef steak. In a bowl, combine the steak with 1 tablespoon olive oil, 2 minced garlic cloves, salt and black pepper to taste, and 1 teaspoon steak seasoning.

Sear the marinated steak bites in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and juicy. Remove the seared steak from the pan and set it aside.

In the same pan used for searing the steak, add 3 tablespoons butter, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, 1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs, and optional lemon zest.

Return the seared steak to the pan and toss to coat it thoroughly in the garlic butter mixture.

Add the roasted potatoes to the pan with the steak and garlic butter. Mix everything together until the potatoes and steak are glossy and flavorful.

Serve hot. Top with grated parmesan, crispy onions, bacon bits, or chili flakes if desired. Enjoy the dish with a fresh, light salad on the side.
