Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a 9x13 inch glass baking dish by lightly greasing it.

Carefully slice the entire block of King's Hawaiian sweet rolls horizontally, separating the tops from the bottoms. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.

Lay 6 slices of American cheese over the bottom halves of the rolls, ensuring even coverage.

In a large skillet (preferably cast iron) over medium-high heat, add the diced white onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the ground beef to the skillet with the onions. Break up the beef with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Drain any excess grease from the beef and onion mixture. Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Spread the cooked ground beef and onion mixture evenly over the first layer of cheese in the baking dish.

Place the remaining 6 slices of American cheese on top of the ground beef layer. Sprinkle the chopped cooked bacon pieces evenly over the cheese.

Distribute the diced tomatoes over the bacon layer, then gently place the torn green leaf lettuce pieces on top of the tomatoes.

Carefully place the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls back onto the assembled sliders. Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, the ingredients are heated through, and the tops of the rolls are golden brown and slightly toasted.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute or two. Cut the sliders into individual portions. Garnish each slider with a dill pickle slice before serving.
