Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan or skillet over medium heat.

Add the 3 to 4 chopped garlic cloves to the hot oil and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the 1/2 chopped onion and continue to sauté until it becomes translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the 1/2 chopped bell pepper and 1/2 chopped carrot to the pan. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.

Stir in the 1/2 cup of sweet corn and sauté for 2 minutes.

Season the vegetables with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour over the vegetables. Mix thoroughly, cooking for 1 minute to cook out the raw flour taste.

Gradually pour in 1 cup of milk, stirring continuously with a whisk to prevent any lumps from forming. Continue to stir until the sauce begins to thicken.

Add 1 teaspoon of chili flakes and 1 teaspoon of oregano to the sauce. Mix until well combined.

Add the 1 cup of boiled pasta to the pan. Toss everything together to ensure the pasta is fully coated in the creamy sauce.

Place the 1 cheese slice on top of the pasta and stir gently until it has melted completely into the sauce, making it extra creamy.

Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves before serving hot.
