Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package directions until al dente. Before draining, reserve 1 1/2 cups of the pasta water. Drain the spaghetti and set aside.

While the pasta is cooking, heat the avocado oil and butter in a large skillet or pot over medium heat until the butter is melted.

Add the minced garlic and minced onions to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Stir in the Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes, cooking for another 30 seconds to allow the flavors to bloom.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the aromatics. Pour in 1 cup of the reserved pasta water and the chicken bouillon. Stir well to combine.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and the juice from 1/2 a lemon. Continue to stir, adding more reserved pasta water a splash at a time if needed, until a creamy sauce forms and coats the noodles.

Stir in the chopped fresh parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
