In a large bowl, combine the warm water, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy. This indicates the yeast is active.

Add the olive oil, salt, and 1 cup of the all-purpose flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until well combined. Gradually add the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing until a shaggy dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time.

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or a large baking sheet.

Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan or stretch it out onto the baking sheet to form a rectangle. If using a baking sheet, aim for a rectangle approximately 10x14 inches.

In a small bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, provolone cheese, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Mix well.

Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

While the cheesy bread is baking, melt the unsalted butter. Once the cheesy bread is out of the oven, brush the melted butter over the crust and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Cut the cheesy bread into strips or squares and serve immediately with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
