Preheat your oven to 400°F.

Take a large baking pan and spray it generously with light cooking spray.

Add the 2 pints of cherry or grape tomatoes to the prepared pan.

Add the 5 cloves of minced garlic to the tomatoes in the pan.

Season the tomatoes and garlic with 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.

Toss all the ingredients in the pan together until well combined.

Place the 2 large salmon fillets on top of the tomato mixture in the pan.

Transfer the pan to the preheated 400°F oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.

While the salmon is roasting, cook the 12 ounces of dry protein pasta according to the package directions.

Once the pasta is cooked, drain it, making sure to reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

Carefully remove the roasted salmon and vegetables from the oven.

Using a fork, flake the cooked salmon directly into the pan with the roasted vegetables.

Add the 8 ounces of light cream cheese to the pan.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan.

Stir in the 1/2 cup of fresh chopped basil.

Pour in the reserved 1/2 cup of pasta water, as needed, and mix all the ingredients together until the sauce is creamy and everything is well combined.

Serve hot. Optionally, top with grated Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and extra fresh basil.
