Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil for the pasta. While the water heats, prepare the Alfredo sauce.

In a blender, combine the cottage cheese, milk, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. Set aside.

Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining the pasta. Drain well and set aside.

While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Add the broccoli florets to the skillet with the cooked chicken. If using fresh broccoli, cook for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp. If using frozen, cook until heated through and tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the chicken and broccoli. Pour the prepared creamy Alfredo sauce over all the ingredients.

Stir everything together thoroughly until the chicken, broccoli, and pasta are well coated with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a tablespoon or two of the reserved pasta water until it reaches your desired consistency.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper, if desired.
