Preheat your oven to 200°C. Halve the cherry tomatoes and place them into an oven-safe baking dish.

Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the baking dish with the tomatoes.

Drizzle the olive oil generously over the tomatoes and garlic. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Bake the tomato mixture in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the tomatoes are soft and slightly burst.

While the tomatoes are baking, cook your chosen pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup (120 ml) of pasta water before draining.

Once the baked tomatoes are removed from the oven, immediately add the fresh basil leaves directly into the hot tomato mixture in the dish. The heat will help wilt the basil and release its aroma.

Add the drained cooked pasta into the same baking dish with the tomatoes and basil. If the sauce seems too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to loosen it.

Place the ball of burrata on top of the pasta and tomato mixture.

Gently mix all the ingredients together in the dish. As you mix, the burrata will break apart, creating a creamy sauce with the roasted tomatoes.

Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy Burrata Pasta.
