Place a frying pan on a medium heat source. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil to the pan and allow it to heat up.

Carefully place two slices of bread, each with a circular hole cut out from its center, into the hot pan.

Crack one egg into a small container (like a measuring cup) and then pour the egg into the hole of one bread slice in the pan. Repeat this step for the second slice of bread.

Season the raw eggs with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.

Once the eggs have set and the bread is toasted to a golden-brown on the bottom side (this usually takes 2-3 minutes), use two spatulas to carefully flip both bread and egg pieces.

Immediately place one slice of ham on top of one of the flipped bread-and-egg pieces.

Place one slice of cheese on top of the ham.

Take the other flipped bread-and-egg piece and carefully place it on top of the cheese, forming a sandwich.

Gently press down on the sandwich with a spatula to help the cheese melt and the ingredients adhere.

Using two spatulas, carefully flip the entire sandwich to toast the other side and further melt the cheese. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the breakfast sandwich from the pan and place it on a cutting board. Repeat steps 2-10 for the remaining two servings.

Cut each sandwich in half through the middle.

Serve immediately.
