Place the 15 digestive biscuits into a sandwich bag. Use a rolling pin to crush them into fine crumbs, or alternatively, blitz them in a blender until crushed.

Transfer the crushed digestives into a large mixing bowl. Add the 15 cut-up marshmallows and the 15 cut-up glacé cherries to the bowl.

Pour the 1/2 x 400ml tin of condensed milk into the bowl with the other ingredients. Mix everything together thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture starts to stick together.

Scatter a generous handful of desiccated coconut evenly over a clean work surface or large chopping board.

Transfer the sticky mixture from the bowl onto the coconut-scattered surface. Using your hands, roll the mixture into a log shape, ensuring it picks up the coconut as you roll. Continue rolling until the log is fully coated in desiccated coconut.

Tightly wrap the coconut-coated log in cling film or aluminum foil. Place the wrapped log in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours, allowing it to firm up and set.

Once chilled and firm, unwrap the log. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 2–3 cm thick pieces.

Serve the Fifteens with a cup of tea and enjoy this classic Irish treat.
