Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the 100 grams of dried wheat noodles to the boiling water and cook until tender, following package instructions (typically 3-5 minutes).

Once cooked, drain the noodles thoroughly in a colander. Rinse them immediately under cold running water until completely chilled to stop the cooking process and remove excess starch. Set aside in the colander to drain.

Slice a handful of cucumber into thin strips.

In a small mixing bowl, combine the gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, toasted sesame oil, pressed garlic, and water. Stir vigorously with a spoon until all ingredients are well combined and the sugar has dissolved, forming a uniform sauce.

Place the chilled noodles into a serving bowl. Arrange the sliced cucumber on top of the noodles.

Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the noodles and cucumber. Halve the boiled egg and place it on top of the dish. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish.

Serve immediately and enjoy the cold noodle dish.
