Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the 225g of unsalted butter (room temperature), 140g of granulated sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Mix these ingredients together using an electric hand mixer until the mixture is creamy.

Add the 2 egg yolks and scrape the seeds from the 1 vanilla bean into the butter mixture. Mix again with the electric hand mixer until these ingredients are well combined.

Stir in the 280g of all-purpose flour, mixing with the electric hand mixer until mostly combined.

Add the 30ml of milk (room temperature) to the dough. Continue mixing with the electric hand mixer until a smooth dough forms.

Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.

Pipe the dough into rounds onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the cookies at 180°C for 14 minutes.

Once baked, let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.

Then, transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
